1 rough machining
The rough machining strategy needs to be based on the type of the blank and the die surface. If the blank is forging or steel parts, then the rough machining is the best choice for the area to clear the model processing, the majority of the blank allowance to remove, get a uniform blank margin, to facilitate the subsequent processing.

2 semi finish machining
Semi finish machining, the main purpose is ensure finish machining allowance is even, the most commonly used method is to calculate the residual material boundary contour (reference tool not processing area of the 3D profile), and select a smaller tool to process the 3D contour region, without re processing of the whole model.

3 local finish
Local finishing generally refers to the processing of pure angle. Machining method for machining or series of cutting tools from large to small.

4 finish machining
In the finishing process, unless the mold surface height change is relatively large, it is best to select the parallel finish.
